Talented people & beautiful words that inspire me!

Shirley & Steven
Mom and Dad
My parents are my biggest inspiration and supporters. They both had colourful and successful professional careers that spanned many industries but mostly focused on social change and international development. Although we aren’t blood related, I have inherited their love of world cultures, passion for reading, and curiosity to explore new opportunities!
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain
Laura
My best friend and partner in many endeavours
Laura and I bonded while managing Salja Dance while we were in university. I have been extremely lucky to be able to personally see Laura’s growth, kindness and hard-working personality. She is always encouraging of my wild dreams and offers to lend a helping hand whenever possible. I couldn’t imagining having a more powerful friend in my life.

“Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.” – Henry Ford

Isabelle
An impressive woman who works hard for her dreams
I met Isabelle at the tail end of one of my visits to South Korea and it’s one of the relationships I cherish most from my travel abroad. I admire her for many things, including how genuine she is and how she faces challenges head on. Most notably, it was inspiring to see her pursue her dreams against the odds and persevere to shape her life into something she is passionate about. As a dancer and friend, I will always look up and support her, no matter how far apart physically we are!
“Gratitude is the easiest and most powerful way to transform your life. Become truly grateful, and you will magnetize everything you need.” – Ronda Byrne
Katalina
An exceptionally understanding and hard-working professional
Katalina and I have very similar personalities and perspectives of the world. We both struggle with similar challenges and it’s been amazing to get to know Kat more closely since working together after graduating from university. I have so much love and respect for her as a woman and professional who has accomplished so much already at our age!
